Purpose Is a Direction, Not a Destination
Stop chasing the arrival. Start walking the heading.
We've made purpose into a finish line — a job title, a number, a morning routine so optimized it loses the morning.
But purpose doesn't arrive. It orients. It's a heading you walk, not a place you reach. The moment you treat it as a destination, you spend your life arriving and never living.
The trap of 'someday'
Someday I'll have it figured out. Someday I'll be ready. Someday the purpose will click. Someday is the daydream that keeps you bored with today.
Purpose isn't waiting at the end of your prep. It's the direction you point the prep.
Walk the heading
Ask yourself: what direction, if I walked it today, would make today feel like mine? Not the destination — the direction. Kindness. Honesty. Curiosity. Courage.
Then take one step that way. Today. Before the list, before the inbox.
You won't arrive at purpose. You'll walk it. And walking it is the whole point.
